Their arrest follows an initial tip from another former employee.
ND: YAG Laser Hair Removal
Laser hair removal uses melanin-targeting laser technology to safely reduce hair growth on darker complexions (with more melanin). YAG laser technology solves this issue by not targeting melanin in any way and instead uses selective photothermolysis to heat up hair follicles – leading to permanent reduction in growth without harming surrounding tissues and skin.
Before beginning any laser hair removal treatment, it is advisable to arrange a consultation appointment. This will enable you to ascertain whether or not your hair color and density are suitable for treatment, and allow your practitioner to assess if you are safe for treatment.
As part of your preparation for YAG laser hair removal sessions, it is recommended to refrain from waxing, plucking and threading two weeks in advance of each treatment session as these activities reduce the number of hair follicles available for treatment, diminishing its effectiveness. In addition, you should shave the area prior to beginning.
ND: YAG Laser Skin Rejuvenation
YAG Laser treatments are noninvasive and relatively comfortable. First, an anesthetic cream will be applied for your comfort before the handpiece is placed over the targeted area and laser pulses administered; some patients report feeling a mild stinging sensation during their sessions with us at Advanced Dermatology New York and New Jersey using our Candela Nordlys YAG laser to address vascular lesions or pigmented areas.
This YAG laser is well known for its ability to target red blood cells and hemoglobin deep within tissue without breaking through to the surface of skin, treating telangiectasias (spider veins), hemangiomas and redness associated with rosacea.
YAG lasers can also help eliminate brown spots and age-related freckles as well as hyperpigmentation issues like melasma or cafe au lait spots. Before beginning any laser treatment plan it is advised that consultation be sought from a certified cosmetic professional.
ND: YAG Laser Tattoo Removal
Laser tattoo removal has quickly become the preferred way to eliminate unwanted tattoos. YAG Laser uses bursts of high energy that break apart tattoo pigment into microscopic particles that are naturally eliminated by your body; leaving behind significantly diminished tattoo appearance while leaving behind skin without scars or marks.
Q-switched YAG laser (neodymium:yttrium aluminum garnet) emits two wavelengths of light energy (1064nm and 532nm), both absorbed by most tattoo ink colors. This allows it to safely remove tattoo ink under the skin without harming any particular skin type.
YAG lasers are highly effective for treating epidermal pigmentation such as freckles, senior flecks and sun-burn spots without risk of burning or hyperpigmentation compared to other tattoo removal lasers like Alexandrite (Alex).
ND: YAG Laser Skin Tightening
The YAG Laser Skin Tightening procedure is non-invasive and does not require downtime. Before your treatment starts, Dr. Yee will apply topical numbing cream to protect the surface of your skin before sending short pulses of laser energy at your target area to heat deeper layers and stimulate natural healing mechanisms within your body to produce more collagen; tightening loose areas while improving texture overall.
Collagen production becomes part of the skin’s structure, so results from this treatment are long-term. Most patients notice significant improvements immediately following their session and see further gains weeks later as more collagen forms. You should see continued results with regular touch-up treatments; it’s an excellent solution for both men and women seeking to reduce fine lines, wrinkles, or an overall lax complexion.
ND: YAG Laser Skin Resurfacing
Erbium:YAG laser skin treatments offer effective solutions to treat fine lines and wrinkles, acne scars, surgical scars and laxity, lighten or clear freckles or any pigmentation irregularities, lighten freckles or pigmentation irregularities and reduce any laxity issues. In contrast to CO2 lasers, Erbium:YAG lasers are considered “pigment-friendly”, making them safe for darker skin tones.
Laser treatments utilize Erbium:YAG laser beams to penetrate skin layers, altering them at a cellular level by eliminating damaged tissue and stimulating healing responses, ultimately creating tighter, smoother-looking skin over time.
YAG lasers can also effectively treat spider and thread veins on the face and legs with light pulses directed at melanin to coagulate blood vessels in targeted areas. Unfortunately, long-pulsed modes may overheat veins causing scarring; for optimal results it is essential that an experienced laser provider be used.
ND: YAG Laser Facials
Nd:YAG laser treatment is a safe, non-invasive solution that targets visible veins and blood vessels on the surface of your skin, offering effective solutions for various complexion concerns such as brown spots and uneven skin tone. The treatment emits high-energy light which absorbs into red blood cells in targeted capillaries or veins before your body naturally closes them back up after use, creating more even skin tones overall.
Your physician will use a topical anesthetic during your procedure to ensure maximum comfort. Next, they’ll guide the YAG laser over your face, sending out small pulses of energy that target damaged skin cells while stimulating new healthy ones to grow back in.
This will result in a refreshed appearance with results that continually improve over time. Fitzpatrick skin types I-I are known to benefit most from laser therapy treatments; however, the procedure can also be utilized on darker skin tones with careful adjustment of frequency and depth settings.
ND: YAG Laser Lip Enhancement
Laser lip enhancement is a noninvasive solution for improving and shaping lips, as well as reducing fine lines and wrinkles around them. It offers an alternative solution to injectable fillers for patients averse to needle procedures.
The YAG laser used in this procedure releases short, powerful bursts of energy directly into the deeper layers of lips without harming their surface, which triggers an autoimmune healing response that produces collagen production resulting in fuller and smoother lips over time. Treatment time is quick with no downtime required afterward.
Laser treatments may also be suitable for those allergic to hyaluronic acid fillers. According to research, 1064nm Q-switched Nd:YAG laser with 650 microsecond pulse duration was found to improve color, texture and definition in lips over three to six months; The Albany Cosmetic and Laser Centre offers Fotona Liplase laser treatment which stimulates collagen production for improved lips.
ND: YAG Laser Dermal Fillers
YAG lasers use infrared light with wavelengths between 755nm and 1064nm to permanently eliminate unwanted facial hair, sunspots, birthmarks, as well as treat facial and leg veins.
Laser energy absorbs melanin-containing cells in dark pigmented areas and destroys it through selective photothermolysis, enabling your skin to heal more rapidly with a clearer complexion.
Brown spots, freckles and age spots are common signs of aging that can easily be corrected using laser treatments – they are safe, effective and long-term solutions!
YAG lasers emit short bursts of light that shatter ink or melanin within the skin, enabling it to heal itself naturally and eliminate unwanted lesions over time. While results may take several treatment sessions to come into full view, they will eventually prove long-term. Q-switched Alexandrite and ND:YAG lasers are among the top technologies capable of successfully shattering ink or melanin without harming surrounding tissue or damaging healthy skin.
ND: YAG Laser Chemical Peels
ND lasers can be utilized for numerous treatments, such as skin resurfacing, melisma removal, acne scarring and rhytids; additionally they may help to diminish or even eradicate fine lines and wrinkles.
An Nd:YAG laser beam is passed over the skin surface twice during an ablative treatment session to provide short stimulation before penetrating deeper to prepare it for fractional laser treatment. Laser heat causes old, worn-out tissue to be abraded away resulting in new tight skin that has less wrinkles and an improved texture.
The Nd:YAG laser is a “pigment-friendly” laser designed for Fitzpatrick skin types V and VI (deepest skin tones). This type of laser helps remove tattoo ink without harming healthy surrounding skin cells resulting in reduced healing time, side effects, speedier removal processes and greater efficiency of tattoo removal.
