Laser hair removal is generally pain-free. At your appointment, a cooling gel will be administered to protect the surface of your skin during treatment, and any redness and itching experienced should subside after several days.
Once the cooling gel has been applied, we will use the DiolazeXL handpiece to smoothly glide across your skin with it. When reaching active hair follicles and disabling them by laser energy, a slight snapping sensation will be felt as laser energy strikes at them and destroys them – some areas with coarse hair may experience more discomfort; otherwise most find Diolaze virtually painless.
Diolaze laser treatment takes an innovative approach to hair removal that addresses its source: unwanted hair growth. After just four or six sessions you should be free of unwanted hair; however, future appointments must be scheduled in order to maintain this result.
